Gear and Equipment Needed!

Back in Service thrives off gear donations. Whether you're a Firefighter, Police Officer, Reserve Officer, Trooper, Park Ranger, Natural Resources Officer, Corrections Officer or an EMT, we accept and recyle all your profession-related gear. Because we have a lot of "Back-In-Servicers" who are underfunded and in desperate need for gear, our inventory dwindles exceptionally fast.

We've prepared the following list of items we need desperately. In no way is this a complete comprehensive list - we accept anything you'd use in your profession.

  • Handcuffs
  • Handcuff Keys

Follow these instructions and Back in Service will be able to pass on your gear to another grateful professional!

  1. Package your items in the smallest packaging possibe.
  2. As much as you can, label what items are compatible with. (Such as "Blackhawk Epoch Level 3 Light Bearing Holster for Glock 17") The easier it is for us to identify it, the faster it gets processed into inventory and in the hands of a grateful professional.

- If you are provided with a tracking number, be sure to send that to Back In Service so we can track packages and make sure we receive.

- Use USPS - They are usually the most economical.

- We don't require expedited shipping to get packages to us. Feel free to use the cheapest/slowest delivery method you prefer. We're ALL on a budget, so we understand without question.
